Faculty Development Program on From Idea to Publication: Paper Development Through AI Tools

Background

This FDP is designed to enhance research skills through advanced methodologies and tools. Participants will gain hands-on experience in Systematic Literature Review (SLR) using PRISMA and Boolean search strategies across Scopus and Web of Science. The program covers SmartPLS-4 for structural equation modelling, including measurement and structural model assessment, mediation, moderation, and multi-group analysis. Participants will also explore decision modelling techniques such as DEMATEL, Total Interpretive Structural Modelling (TISM), and MICMAC. AI-powered tools will be integrated across all stages of the research workflow — from ideation and literature mapping to manuscript writing and journal submission. This comprehensive training empowers faculty to produce high-quality research and publications in reputed journals.

Objectives

  • To equip participants with systematic literature review (SLR) methods including PRISMA framework, database search strategies, screening, framework development, and SLR paper writing.
  • To train participants in PLS-SEM using SmartPLS-4, covering measurement models, structural models, mediation, moderation, and multi-group analysis.
  • To introduce decision modelling techniques: DEMATEL, TISM, and MICMAC — for analysing complex cause-effect and hierarchical relationships among factors.
  • To integrate AI tools across the research workflow, including literature review, bibliometrics, data analysis, and academic writing.
  • To develop skills in academic writing and manuscript preparation for publication in high-quality journals.
